Privacy Policy — AtheerPlay

AtheerPlay is a media player that lets you play your own streaming links (URLs). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect Directly

• No account is required; we do not collect your name or email.
• The links you add, your favorites, and watch history are stored locally on your device only and are never sent to our servers.

2. Data Collected by Our Partners (Service Providers)

The app uses third-party services that may collect data:

a) Advertising — AppLovin MAX

To display in-app ads, the AppLovin network and its partners may collect:

• Device identifiers (such as the Advertising Identifier, IDFA / Advertising ID).
• Usage and advertising data (interaction with ads and the app).

This data is used to serve personalized ads and measure their performance. On iOS, we request your permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before using the advertising identifier for tracking. You may decline, and can change your choice later in system Settings.

b) Notifications — Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google)

To send notifications, Google's Firebase service uses a device token and technical identifiers to deliver push notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

3. Content & External Links

The app provides no content; you add your own links, which play directly from their sources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sources.

4. Tracking

Device identifiers may be used for advertising tracking only with your consent via the iOS ATT prompt. If you decline, ads are still shown but are non-personalized.

5. Children

The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

6. Your Rights

You can delete your local data by deleting the app, and disable ad tracking and notifications from your device settings.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date reflects changes.
